We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team at SignalPET. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Deep learning techniques , a proven track record of leading and delivering complex ML based projects to production, preferably computer vision related and a deep understanding of large-scale systems.
SignalPET is a technology and AI leader in the veterinary field. Using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and patented technology, SignalPET assists veterinarians in diagnosing and treating companion animals all around the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced research and development initiatives in deep learning, with a particular emphasis on computer vision applications.
- Design and implement cutting-edge machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to devise innovative solutions for intricate data science challenges.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in deep learning and actively contribute to the technological progression of the company.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record with a minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a strong emphasis on deep learning techniques.
- Expertise in computer vision and its applications, particularly within the medical field.
- Successful delivery of complex machine learning projects and solutions.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and Keras.
- Familiarity with the latest GenAI applications and their platforms
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and feature engineering.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing.
