Job Description

As a developer in Wix Dev Tools you will:

• Build a command line interface (CLI), the key development tool for hundreds of developers at Wix as well as external developers and agencies building applications for the Wix App Market.
• Take projects from idea to production, including technical design, RFC, coding and more.
• Work on a cutting-edge CLI at the highest industry standard with the most up-to-date tooling.
• Be a part of an infrastructure team with extremely experienced colleagues.
• Create a developer-centric tool, crafted by developers, giving you the opportunity to influence the product at virtually every level.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• An experienced Javascript infrastructure developer with 5+ years of development experience.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with frontend tooling (webpack, vite, etc.) and strong understanding of web development lifecycle (chunks, bundles, ecmascript versions, etc.)
• Familiarity with micro frontends and complex web applications.
• Stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the product and team processes.
• Experience creating CLI applications and/or are an active open source contributor - an advantage

We are the Dev Tools group at Wix, a group of top-notch developers, passionate engineers, and problem solvers with a mission to improve the productivity of thousands of developers. Our goal is to build cutting-edge tools that improve the velocity and quality of our users' products. Our users are both internal Wix developers and external developers.

We are focused on building the Wix CLI, the next-generation toolkit that will allow professional developers to easily build applications and websites on top of the Wix platform. We intend for the CLI to be similar to community open source solutions and support building applications in React.
