As an Open Source Engineer on the Tracee team, you'll play a vital role in enhancing and maintaining our runtime security engine. Tracee, an innovative security tool leveraging Linux eBPF technology, provides unparalleled visibility and security based on system activity. Collaborate with a skilled global team of remote developers, addressing challenges across low-level kernel and high-level applications. Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop and maintain features for the Tracee open-source project.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Tracee into various environments.
3. Engage with the community through GitHub Issues, Discussions, and chats.
4. Contribute to the documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of the Tracee project.
5. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development experience, demonstrating expertise in Go and C programming languages.
• Strong understanding of Linux internals and eBPF related technologies.
• Familiarity with the Cloud Native landscape of projects and technologies.
• Experience with system-level performance analysis and troubleshooting.
• Preferred Kubernetes development experience, including the development of controllers, CRDs, and understanding Kubernetes architecture.
• Preferred background in information security.
