Tenable Cloud Security was born out of the acquisition of Ermetic, an innovative cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) company, and a leading provider of cloud infrastructure entitlement management (CIEM). The acquisition combines two cybersecurity innovators and marks an important milestone in Tenable’s mission to shift organizations to proactive security. The combination of Tenable and Ermetic offerings will add capabilities to deliver market-leading contextual risk visibility, prioritization and remediation across infrastructure and identities, both on-premises and in the cloud.

Your Role

• Crafting clean, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable code to elevate our software products to new heights.
• Collaborating seamlessly within a diverse ecosystem of stakeholders by meticulously planning, brainstorming, and providing invaluable feedback to drive innovation.
• Orchestrating cross-functional efforts to ensure project alignment with business objectives and compliance standards, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency.
• Exercising adept problem-solving skills to triage and resolve complex product or system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
• Actively participating in code reviews to uphold the highest standards of code quality and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  
  

Your Opportunity

• Design, engineer, and maintain intricate software solutions encompassing application development, intricate database integration, interface optimization, and advanced functionality enhancements.
• Provide visionary technical leadership to guide and mentor junior engineers. Offer expertise in designing and implementing complex systems and architectures.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards. Implement and enforce best practices to ensure the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of software systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to align technical strategies with overall business objectives.
• Tackle complex technical issues and provide expertise in resolving critical problems
• Contribute to the development of the company's technical strategy and roadmap. Align technical decisions with long-term business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team, advocating for the adoption of best practices, new technologies, and efficient development processes.
  
  

What You'll Need

• BSc in computer science or an equivalent from a known university or college in Israel and/or an exceptional track record in server-side development
• 8+ years experience in software engineering
• Familiarity C/C++, C#, Java, Go, Python
• Experience building scalable and high-available distributed services
• A history of excellence and continues learning
• Experience developing services hosted on AWS, Azure, GCP
• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work independently
