The Position:

We're looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the Applications Domain of ActiveFence. In this role you will build, mentor and lead teams through designing, developing and maintaining our ActiveOS platform applications. You will be working closely with product , architecture and other departments to ensure the best UX , scalability, robustness and efficiency of our infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor and inspire cross-functional agile teams, including hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Own an Engineering Domain supporting a few business scenarios. This includes a full software lifecycle of features, from architecture, implementation and production tier 4 support, while ensuring quality, security and reliability.
• Own and manage the Domain budget.
• Collaborate with other departments to assure successful market adoption of the domain features.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership around innovations and major improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Sales teams to deliver a winning moderation experience for the T&S domain.

Does this describe you?

• Work experience as a director of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department in a small/medium size company.
• 7+ years practical experience in designing and developing large-scale, cloud-based systems.
• 5+ years experience with Hands-on in BackEnd and FrontEnd development.
• Experience in communicating with technical teams, product and management.
• BSc in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
