The Front-End Software Architect designs, develops, tests, and maintains the NICE CXone software application. Key responsibilities include all tiers of the NICE CXone technology, including (but not limited to) design and development of NICE CXone products and features and assisting development teams utilizing agile development processes.

Main Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Should drive innovation in terms of publishing papers, blogs, creating POCs, propositions etc.
• Designing and overseeing the creation of scalable, responsive, and high-performing web applications will be your responsibility including Micro-Frontend and best practices.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions while offering technical leadership.
• Demonstrate pivotal role in shaping and implementing our front-end development strategies in Angular.
• Design and develop proof of concept prototypes for advanced features and designs.
• Work with the Product Management to design products with high-quality user experiences.
• Drives Non-Functional Requirements including performance tuning, re-design, and re-factoring.
  
  

Basic Qualifications / Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering
• 6+ years’ experience in the design, development, and use of component-based UI architectures.
• Demonstrable knowledge of large scale, TypeScript, JavaScript application (including Micro Frontend) architectures based on Angular applications.
• Strong OO design skills/implementation of design patterns.
• A strong understanding of approaches and techniques to optimize web performance.
• Strong in the clean code development process, and test-driven development.
• Comfortable with working in a complex matrix and global environment
• Good proficiency in English language is required.
• Fast learner, good team player with excellent communication skills.

This role requires both interpersonal and technical skills. You will be guiding and mentoring all Frontend developers in the organization on Angular best practices, architectural planning, performance, monitoring, a/b testing, and other related topics, in addition to having a major role in the creation of large-scale web applications.
