About The Job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly professional Backend Team Lead who will take ownership of building an innovative product.

As a Backend Team Lead you Lead an outstanding development team focused on extraordinary intelligence systems deployed on as environments.

Our microservices approach, coupled with a one-of-a-kind architecture, supports hundreds of customers daily in their real-time communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend developers. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide career development guidance.
2. Project Oversight: Manage backend aspects of game development projects, ensuring they meet set timelines and quality standards. Coordinate with Project Managers and other team leads for smooth project execution
3. Technical Excellence: Set clear standards and procedures for backend development. Ensure the team adheres to best practices and stays updated with the latest technologies.
4. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Oversee code quality, conduct regular code reviews, and ensure adherence to the company’s technical frameworks and standards.
5. Implementation of best practices : agile implementation, git version control, code deploy (Ci/CD)
6. This is 50% HO position

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Team Leader
• 4+ years Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, high-scale backend development (C# ASP.NET .Net core, WEB API).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/ software engineering computer or equivalent
• Proven ability to design, deliver, and execute end-to-end solutions.
• Great interpersonal and communication skill - Big advantage
• Ability to manage time effectively and direct the team towards the same standards.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Docker and Kubernetes
• Good knowledge in wiring SQL queries and understanding DB optimization.
• Thrive on working in an agile development environment.
• Ability to work in a multi-technology environment & learn new technologies.
• Experience in working with cloud-based architectures and AWS specifically.
• Excellent English (written and verbal)
