As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Tictuk, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction of our platforms and driving initiatives to improve product stability. You will lead a dynamic team of technologists, engineers, and developers, ensuring that our products are reliable, scalable, and able to meet the demands of a rapidly growing user base.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership and Vision:

  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership to the engineering and development teams.
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for improving product stability and reliability.

Stability and Reliability Initiatives:

  • Lead efforts to enhance the stability and reliability of our platforms, including thorough analysis of current systems and proposing necessary improvements.

Team Management and Development:

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team of technologists, engineers, developers, and technical professionals.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the technical team.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Ensure thorough technical documentation is created and maintained, facilitating knowledge transfer and onboarding for new team members.

Internal and external partnerships:

  • Partnering with other departments at TicTuk leadership for proper communications and escalations paths
  • Building and nurturing partnerships and cooperative efforts with key colleagues across the broader Yum! organization
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors to ensure that partnerships align with our technical objectives and contribute to product stability.

Platform Optimization:

  • Oversee the development and optimization of the platform, with a focus on stability, scalability, and robustness.

Technology Stack and Architecture:

  • Evaluate and optimize the technology stack, architecture, and infrastructure to support the stability and reliability of our products.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure that security measures and best practices are implemented and maintained to protect sensitive data and comply with industry standards and regulations.

Performance Optimization:

  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure fast and reliable online ordering experiences for customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably in a high-tech company focused on online ordering solutions.
  • Excellent relationship-building and strategic influence skills.
  • Proficiency in navigating complex social dynamics and organizational politics
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving initiatives to improve product stability and reliability.
  • Strong expertise in Ecommerce platforms, mobile app development, integration technologies, and emerging tech trends.
  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in online transactions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
