Description

Annapurna Labs, an Amazon company, is looking to expand the IT/DevOps team in the networking area, with ownership of LAN, WAN, and Cloud network infrastructure. As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for design, implementation, and monitoring of large-scale, complex networks that provide communication infrastructure to a chip design/development company. You will be involved in development and will interface with development teams. You will also be involved in company projects, managing and instructing sub-contractors.

Key job responsibilities

• Defining, installing, and maintaining LAN, WLAN, and WAN network environments, mainly running on Cisco and Juniper equipment.
• Network security products and solutions such as VPN, Firewall, Radius, etc.
• Network on the Amazon AWS Cloud with the following services and modules: TGW, IGW, NACL, SG, DX, Private Links, ALB/NLB, IPsec/MACsec and Hybrid cloud routing.
• Network construction projects from design up to implementation.
• Troubleshooting complex issues, both on the network and OS client/server sides (familiarity with operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and Macintosh.)
• Network maintenance and periodic on-call duty.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 5 years of work experience
• CCNA or CCNP or similar certifications from Juniper
• Hands-on experience with Juniper/Cisco switching and routing
• Hands-on experience with wireless environment
• Hands-on experience with network security: Firewalls, VPNs, and Radius
• Strong skills in networking protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, STP, 802.X, OSPF, and BGP
• Strong planning, organizing and executing skills
• Good team player, excellent communication skills, fluent Hebrew/English
• Willing to participate in after-hour/weekend network maintenance and on-call duties
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Skills in Linux, Windows, and MAC OS
• Skills in AWS environment, in addition to networking families (EC2, EBS, Route53, CloudWatch, Lambda, S3, SSO)
• Knowledge of network management and hands-on Shell scripting/Python
