Our Engineering team is growing, and we are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join the team.

Not Your Typical DevOps Team Lead Role

As a hands-on DevOps Team Lead at Darrow, you will possess a deep understanding of DevOps principles, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully implementing and optimizing DevOps practices. You will ensure the seamless integration of development and operations processes.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and mentor the DevOps team, set clear goals, and ensure project milestones are met.
• Facilitate communication between the DevOps team and stakeholders, coordinating with various departments to identify, prioritize, and address their needs.
• Stay abreast of new technology trends, evaluating them for adoption.

Advanced Cloud Infrastructure Architecture:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable cloud infrastructures within AWS.
• Optimize cloud resources, focusing on performance, cost-effectiveness, and security.

CI/CD, GitOps Expertise:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and advocate GitOps practices to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the deployment process.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Lead the adoption and management of IaC practices, utilizing tools like Terraform and Crossplane.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• With over 7 years of experience as a DevOps professional, including a minimum of 2 years in a team lead role within a startup or dynamic tech environment.
• Mastery of DevOps and GitOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and IaC.
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) - Must.
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, Node.JS), and automation tools.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and cloud computing platforms.
• Advantage: Experience with MLOps.
• Great Advantage: “DevOps Engineer - Professional” or “Solutions Architect - Professional” certifications from AWS.
