Summary:

For a digital healthcare startup, we are seeking a talented Development Team Lead to join our growing team. 

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, building, and architecting innovative solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects using agile methodologies. 

You will be a key player in shaping the technical direction of our products and driving continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Assign tasks, delegate effectively, and guide and support team members.


• Solution Architecture:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Design and architect secure, scalable, and maintainable software systems.


• Requirements Management:

Break down high-level requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

Prioritize user stories and ensure they are aligned with project goals.

Work closely with product managers and designers to gather and refine requirements.


• Agile Methodology:

Lead the team to follow agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.

Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-up meetings.

Continuously monitor and improve team processes and practices.


• Technical Expertise:

Proven experience in Java, Spring Boot, Relational Database, Kubernetes, and GCP.

Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.

Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and find solutions.


• Communication and Collaboration:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, product managers, designers, and QA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in team leadership roles.

• Proven experience in using agile methodologies.

• Strong understanding of software architecture principles.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest technologies.
