We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability and scalability of our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and systems administration, with a passion for automating operations and ensuring high availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient systems that support our SaaS platform
- Implement automation tools and frameworks for automatic code deployment and configuration management
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply necessary optimizations
- Collaborate with software engineers to enhance the infrastructure, improve deployment processes, and ensure seamless product releases
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system uptime and rapid response to incidents
- Conduct root cause analysis for production errors and implement preventive measures
- Document system design and operational procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Meaningful experience with Web Applications (Rails, Django, etc')
- Minimum three years Experience in Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar role
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Ruby, Bash, Python)
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms AWS, Terraform and containerization technologies (Docker)
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices
- Substantial Knowledge of networking, security, databases, and Linux/Unix systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
