This role will focus on automating and supporting IT infrastructure and application deployment processes and tasks to improve our capabilities and service offerings to the R&D Team.

Key Responsibilities

A DevOps Engineer is responsible for maintaining the company services, requiring them to troubleshoot and identify the root causes of any issues that arise within their systems and any subcomponents. A DevOps Engineer will utilise testing, monitoring, and validations on their services, tools, and infrastructure to ensure the R&D team can continuously deploy new versions of the services with minimal interruption. A DevOps Engineer will identify areas to invent, refine, and develop automation and tools to reduce manual operations and fulfil the requirements of the business and their customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years Windows and Linux systems administration
• 2+ years provisioning, operating, and managing AWS/VMWare/Kubernetics environments
• Proficient with AWS services: Compute and Network, Storage and CDN, Database, Analytics, Application Services, Deployment, and Management
• Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking
• Familiarity interacting with AWS APIs
• Experience in building automation pipelines with CI/CD tools - Jenkins, git, Docker, Airflow
• Experience in automation and testing via scripting & programming (PowerShell, Jenkins, Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, RADIUS.
• Experience with storage technologies, such as SAN, NAS, or object storage, and their integration with virtualized environments.

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred
