We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team at Ecoplant. As a front-end engineer, your role will be pivotal in leading the field of front-end development, taking ownership of new processes and technologies, and playing an instrumental part in our company's growth and enhancing the quality of our services to our clients, working alongside a talented group of professionals to disrupt the infrastructure world.

A day in a life

• Serve as a key contributor to our core engineering team, focused on the development and enhancement of our SAAS technology platform
• Assume end-to-end ownership of core microservices and codebase, encompassing architecture, development, and deployment
• Lead the end-to-end development of features, from defining product requirements to conducting live tests in production, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality
• Engage in our Agile, delivery-focused development process to efficiently meet project goals and deadlines
• Contribute to a startup environment by helping set priorities and making informed design decisions based on your experience and insights, ultimately shaping our product and vision
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
  

What it takes to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Frontend or Full-stack developer
• Strong coding skills in React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proficiency with cloud technology and services such as AWS (preferred), GCP, and Azure
• Hands-on experience with React, mobx, NodeJS - must, microservice-must, mono repo - advantage.
• Familiarity with databases (Postgres, DynamoDB) and Queues/Streams (Redis Streams, SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Prior experience working on data-intensive products and applications, demonstrating a strong understanding of data-driven development
