Major Responsibilities
- Designing, developing and implementing DevOps processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Work with cross-functional teams to set up the production environment and enable solutions for our business.
- Lead large projects with multiple engineers contributing, closely collaborating with team mates and stakeholders.
- Implementing automated CI/CD pipelines together with R&D and Operations team in order to deliver code faster, efficiently, and well tested.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code to create or update new and existing cloud infrastructure.
Desired Background
- At least 2 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
- highly available SaaS Experience with microservices architecture.
- At least 2 years experience in Kubernetes deployments with helm.
- At least 2 years experience with IaC Tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Pulumi).
- At least 2 years experience with Linux based systems and shell scripting
- Experience in CI CD pipelines.
- Experience with queues (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka) - Big advantage.
- Experience with Containerized Environmensand orchestrator tools – An advantage.
- Experience with Hashicorp tools (Consul, Vault, Nomad) – An advantage.
- Experience with Cloud infrastructure AWS (API Gateway, ECS, MSK)
- At least 2 years experience Scripting languages skills and experience - Python/Ruby/Go//Groovy(2 from the list).
- Knowledge and experience with Configuration management tools such as Ansible, chef - An advantage
- Networking: Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, CDN, Prox)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, DataDog)
