What you will do:

Autobrains’ L4 R&D group is growing and looking for an experienced Algorithm Engineer.

In this role, you will work in the advanced-features R&D team developing a (complex) interface between external navigation APIs and deep learning based driving policy models.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement algorithms for path planning and navigation in autonomous vehicles.
  • Extract and process driving directions from external APIs (e.g., Google Maps) and convert them into precise local waypoints.
  • Collaborate with the computer vision and deep learning teams to integrate navigation data with real-time sensory inputs.
  • Contribute to the development of robust navigation systems that can handle a variety of environmental conditions and scenarios.
  • Continuously test and refine navigation algorithms based on real-world data and simulations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in robot navigation, mapping, and autonomous driving technologies.

Requirements:

  • MSc in relevant disciplines (e.g., EE/CS/Applied Math/Physics/Bio Engineering/Computational Biology/etc.)
  • Strong background in robot navigation, including experience with path planning and localization.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
