Founded in 2015, Somatix is a remote patient monitoring software platform.

We analyze in real-time data received from standard wearables for detecting hand

gestures (smoking, drinking, medication) and activities (walking, sleeping, falling).

Then we fuse together additional data sources and search for actionable insights, to

enhance the user’s wellbeing. The insights notify the caretaker staff regarding

deterioration in a patients physical or mental condition.

We aim our efforts towards elderly-care, hospital outpatients and addictions-control.

Our customers are elderly nursing homes, hospitals, health insurance companies

and clinics

Somatix is looking for a Full stack Developer to augment our development

team.

Our system is composed of wearable devices that are connected to smart phones.

The smart phones communicate with the Backend (based in AWS cloud) and all data

is displayed on the Dashboard (web-based application) and mobile applications.

This position will be responsible for Design and development .

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Backend environment.
• Experience programming in Java / Spring / Hibernate/ ReST – Must
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Frontend development.
• 2+ years of Experience with AWS or other Cloud technologies – Must
• Good programming skills (Object Oriented Design, System, and app
• programming)- Must
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL) – Must
• Advantage to knowledge in Angular (TypeScript) and web development.
• Advantage experience with IntelliJ, WebStorm IDE
• Preferably experienced in a startup environment
• Relevant Academic degree
