Responsibilities:

Android Development Skills:

Proficiency in Android app development using Java or Kotlin.

Experience with Android Studio, official IDE for Android development.

Understanding of Android application lifecycle and UI development.

Embedded Systems Knowledge:

Familiarity with embedded systems concepts.

Experience working with hardware-level programming on mobile devices.

A background or experience in robotics or related fields is a PLUS.

Knowledge of robotics frameworks and libraries is a PLUS.

Experience with SoC:

Understanding of the hardware architecture and capabilities.

Knowledge of communication protocols, such as I2C, UART, SPI, etc.

Specific experience with the Snapdragon 450 SoC is a PLUS

Sensor Integration:

Experience integrating and working with sensors commonly used in robotics (e.g., cameras, IMUs, proximity sensors).

Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS):

Understanding or experience with real-time operating systems is a PLUS

Documentation Skills and Version Control:

Strong documentation skills to ensure clear communication of code and system architecture.

Familiarity with JIRA, BitBucket

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

Two years or more of proven experience as Android developer, with expertise in IOT development.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in programming languages: Java/Kotlin is a MUST

Proficiency in C/C++ programming is a PLUS

Knowledge in Javascript development is a PLUS.

Proficient with Android development tools and frameworks

Soft Skills:

Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in both hardware and software.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
