Newphotonics is disrupting data center processing with novel photonic engines solving the power and performance challenges. We are looking for an excellent Optics Embedded Engineer to develop the SW/FW for Optical devices.

You will lead the SW/FW embedded in optical Solutions and support innovative products and services:    

●   Develop embedded SW and Firmware

●   Hands-on embedded code development

●   Architecture and requirements definitions

●   Responsibility for code deliverables of subordinates and subcontractors

●   Contribute to ideas and solutions to complicated engineering problems

●   Collaboration with leading Network companies

 

Requirements

●   At least 3 years of proven experience working with leading brands

●   Experience with Pre/Post function verification

●   Programming in C and C++, OOP

●   Knowledge of real-time SW, RTOSs, Object-Oriented Programming, Scripting

●   Proven experience with embedded code writing for MCUs and DSPs (low-level, bring-up)

●   Lab hands-on oriented. Working with test equipment (e.g. Scope, DVM)

●   target-oriented and hardworking spirit

●   Team player

●   Proficiency in standard specs: Ethernet, CMIS, Physical Layers and Optics
