Role Overview:
As the DevOps Team Lead at Agora, you'll be a key player in shaping our technological infrastructure and operational practices. You'll lead a team dedicated to ensuring system reliability, scalability, and efficiency. Your role involves working closely with the software development, data, and automation teams to streamline our deployment processes, maintain our cloud infrastructure, and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
What are we looking for:
- Leadership and Collaboration: Lead the DevOps team, fostering a collaborative culture and aligning with the company's vision. Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and deliver high-quality software.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and scaling of cloud-based infrastructure to support rapid growth. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, promoting faster and more reliable deployment processes.
- Monitoring and Performance: Implement tools to detect and resolve system issues proactively. Ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure the infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Innovation and Strategy: Drive innovation in our DevOps practices, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or related field, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Proficient in cloud services (AWS), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes - EKS), and CI/CD tools, Gitlab CI/CD and Karpenter are advantageous.
- Substantial experience with Terraform for efficient infrastructure provisioning and management is essential.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Strong expertise in continuous deployment and management solutions, specifically with ArgoCD, to facilitate Kubernetes-based application deployments
