We seek a passionate, software-oriented, Robotics Software Engineer for the simulation team to join our Rַ&D team at our TLV Site.

You will be joining the team responsible for our autonomous systems development. You will take part in all aspects of the process - from customer needs mapping and definition, through algorithms design, prototyping, and implementation, to production, continuous deployment, and support.

Responsibilities - what you’ll be doing:

·      Involvement in the requirements definitions and development of a photorealistic physical robotic 3D simulation

·      Create API between the simulation and the robotic software.

·      Ability to design software.

·      Collaborate with the Software Developers and Hardware Engineers to develop a digital twin of a robotic vehicle.

·      Incorporate Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop methods

·      Setup and manage infrastructure for continuous testing of the robotic algorithms

·      Examine the models and algorithms, and be part of the efforts for their constant improvement

Requirements - does this describe you?

·      In-depth understanding of mechanics and kinematics along with linear algebra and 3D geometry

·      2+ years of practical software engineering experience in C++

·      1+ years' experience in ROS/ROS2 robotics development

·      Hands-on experience in robotic simulation development using one or several of these: Gazebo/ Nvidia Isaac /

VRep/ SimMechanics or similar

·      General knowledge of Automotive systems (powertrain, chassis, etc.) Robotic sensors and components: LIDAR,

Cameras, ultrasonic sensors, Motors, Servos, Linear actuators

·      BSc in Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science / SW Engineering / EE or related field
