QA Automation Developer. We are an innovative start-up that has a unique and game-changing software solution to protect against Zero Day & APT cyber-attacks. RESPONSIBILITIES:
What would your role in DI look like?
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our high-end back-end cybersecurity solutions through the design, development, and execution of automation infrastructure and tests. As a part of our BE Automation engineers team, you will collaborate with product, developers, QA automation engineers, and more, in promoting coding conventions, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of quality and reliable automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Automation design and development of Infrastructure and tests-
- Be a Tech Lead for the development of automation tests and necessary infrastructure using Python, Linux cloud-based solutions, and testing tools.
- Plan, design, and develop component, E2E, performance, and stability tests to ensure product quality before/after version release.
Comprehensive Test Plan creation and analysis execution-
- Create detailed test plan documents outlining scope, objectives, and methodologies for testing various software components.
- Execute test scripts and analyze results to identify bugs, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Debug tests, stabilize automation pipelines, document bugs, and track their resolution (Jira).
Collaborate effectively-
- Collaborate closely with QA developers, software developers, product managers, DevOps, SRE, and other core teams.
- Plan and execute system tests together with stakeholders.
Mentor, guide, and innovate-
- Conduct research and evaluate existing/new tools and technologies to enhance automation and testing efficiency.
- Foster a culture of quality, code standards, and methodology.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Automation Developer of system tests and testing infrastructure (OOP/OOD)
- Strong programming skills in Python with expertise in automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with API testing
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies and continuous delivery methods
- Proven ability to mentor and provide guidance, share best practices, conduct code reviews, and promote a culture of learning and growth.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive approach
Advantage:
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience working with Cloud-native services on GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Experience working in a scrum agile enterprise environment
- Experience with UI testing and non-functional testing – Performance, Security, etc.
