What we are looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious student to join our Software team and be part of Skyline Robotics.

As part of your role, you will work collaboratively with professional engineers to deliver high-quality technical solutions that satisfy business requirements and meet corporate architectural standards.

Education:

• Student of Computer Science, Software engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering in a leading institution. 
• At least 2 semesters left until graduation.
• GPA of at least 85.

What you’ll be doing:

• Build and test high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
• Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs.

What you’ll need:

• Availability 2 days a week.
• Knowledge in NodeJS and Python.
• Knowledge of modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.
• Knowledge and experience with software design patterns and how they can be incorporated into software design. 
• Great team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Independent, self-driven, strong self-learner, with the ability to self-manage tasks and meet deadlines.
• Global mindset & great communication skills in English

Advantage if you have:

• Development experience from previous jobs or projects - advantage.
• Experience with cloud framework (preferably AWS)
• Relational database Skills - MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with agile software development methodology.
