We are looking for an experienced BI Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and designing Reports and Dashboards in Looker, building data models in LookML, gathering business requirements and translating them into insights, and helping the business to make data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate is a data enthusiast who enjoys building data systems from the ground up and maintaining their integrity. You will be the go-to person for understanding data, exploration, pipelines, analytics, and the connection between business and data.

Responsibilities

• Interpret analytical and business needs to technical requirements, DWH structure, and after that to LookML models
• Design, develop, evaluate, and maintain reports and dashboards in Looker
• Oversee and ensure the quality of data and structure of reporting and analytics environment
• Support users of data analytics platforms
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3 years of experience as a BI developer, using Looker and LookML
• Practical knowledge of SQL scripting
• Knowledge and experience with data visualization services, data modeling, DWH architecture and design
• 2 years of experience working with one of Cloud Providers (GCP and/or AWS)
  
  
  

Would be a plus:

• Actual hands-on experience with BigQuery
• Understanding large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems, streaming technologies, and storage architecture
• Hands-on experience with Python or other
• Hands-on experience with building ETL/ELT processes and data-related pipelines
