Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Automation Engineer at Appsforce. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, process control, electrical engineering, automation, and robotics. They will work from the Herzliya office with flexibility for some remote work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of cloud products, compliance frameworks, and security rules to identify potential misconfigurations and security risks.
• Utilize cloud service APIs and automation frameworks to develop scripts and tools that proactively monitor and enforce security best practices. · Develop security logic and content for our customers

Requirements

• 2+ years of Python development
• Deep understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and provide practical recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) and SaaS (Software-as-a-Service).
• Experience with Version Control System (GIT).
• Must possess strong verbal & written communication skills in English
• High technical skills, and deep knowledge of automation best practices.
• Familiar with common security frameworks, compliance standards (such as CIS benchmarks, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.), and security best practices for cloud services – advantage
• Experience working with Neo4j database – advantage
