General Robotics (part of the Sig Sauer corporation) is a leading developer and supplier of advanced defense systems to special forces. The FPGA Engineer will be part of a team responsible for the development of our core technology providing remote situational awareness for keeping special forces out of harm's way.  


Responsibilities:


•      FPGA Engineer - Develops video and high-speed data acquisition and signal processing systems.

•      Design PCBA schematics and layouts.

•      Responsible for taking new concepts through all aspects of the product development cycle, resulting in a

producible and innovative system.

•      Reviews and understands military standards, including communication and network protocols.   

 

Qualifications:


•      10 years of recent, related experience in HDL development for embedded systems including FPGAs such as

Lattice, Altera, and Xilinx.

•      Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

•      An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

•      Aptitude for detail with the ability to work in a team environment .

•      High-level English – read, write and speak.
