Exelerate is looking for a Senior BE / Protocols Developer

Exelerate is a well-funded SU company providing solutions for Traffic Management in a Smart-City environment. 

We work with cities and metropolitans to provide optimization of source-destination paths, priority for public transportation, and bring a reduction of traffic-based carbon footprint.

What will you do?

It is a great opportunity to take part in developing an AI-based platform which reduce traffic congestions, make an impact of millions of people daily life.

You will develop the next-generation platform, brainstorming and adding new features to directly influence the cities traffic congestions and road safety, mentor and lead an excellent team of developers in an Agile-Scrum environment

Requirements:

• Passionate, talented engineer to lead the development of features in a mission-critical system using modern technologies.
• Experienced with control and monitoring remote hard-ware devices using TCP/IP, SNMP or UDP connections and messages.
• At least 6 years experience with Java server-side development and multi-threading.
• At least 6 years experience with implementing UDP, SNMP, TCP-IP custom protocols.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of OOD, REST API, SQL databases
• Experience with the Dockers, k8s, AWS, Kafka - an advantage. 
• Experienced with python, typescript – an advantage.
• Expirienced with traffic-related protocols like MODBUS, OCIT, NTCIP - an advantage.
• Bsc/Msc of Computer science or similar – an advantage.
