Gentex is a global leader in high-tech electronic and electro-optics products for the automotive, aerospace, and commercial fire protection markets.

Gentex Technologies Israel – GTI, is the Israeli R&D center of Gentex, located in Tel-Aviv. We are focused on developing the next generation of automotive AI technology and Electro-Optics sensors for in-cabin and driver monitoring applications. GTI is Gentex’s AI and Structured-Light center-of-excellence. Our AI vision algorithms are integrated into Gentex products, run on embedded platforms and are an integral part of leading Car manufacturers around the world.

About the Position

We are looking for talented algorithm developer to join our R&D group. In this position you will:

• Design algorithms based on classical computer vision as well as machine and deep learning.
• Develop features from proof of concept to final product level.
• Work on unique state-of-the-art proprietary optical technology platform.
• Become a part of a global R&D operation and a dynamic local team.

What are we looking for?

• BsC in Computer Science\Electrical Engineering\Physics\Mathematics or related fields. M.Sc. or Ph.D. is a strong advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in algorithm development in relevant fields.
• Strong mathematical skills and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch\Tensorflow\Keras etc).
• Background in optics and 3D modelling a strong advantage.
• Past experience with system engineering aspects of electro-optical systems ( optics, sensors, illumination, calibration, etc)
• A problem solver and a team player

How to stand out

• Experience in Automotive applications
• Experience in bringing a product to the market.
