Responsibilities

• You will be part of the team responsible for K8S infrastructure in multiple clouds.
• You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them.    
• Engage in and improve end-to-end lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.    
• Analyze complex system behavior, performance, and application issues.   
• Apply modern software engineering practices to streamline deployments, drive down costs and operational overhead while meeting critical reliability and availability KPIs.

Qualifications

• Significant Coding experience c#, Python, Go or other equivalent.
• Proven experience with Kubernetes and Prometheus.
• Mastering CI\CD concepts and hands on implementations experiences, specifically GIT 
• Proficiency with networking principles such as TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
• 5+ years of Linux hands on system experiences 
• 5+ years of a mix of coding/testing/Integration experience 
• Proven experience with building services, supportability, and monitoring Infrastructures   
• Strong analytical and problem solving and organizational skills   Excellent written and oral communication skills.  
• Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.  
• Leadership skills: Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision-making skills.  
• Support a 24x7 live site support model for the services the team owns     
  

 

  Preferred Experiences and Technologies:  

• Feedback/Metrics collection techniques to expose live site/service issues.
• Azure DevOps and GitHub tooling.
