Israel Tech Guard is an elite team of tech volunteers who have come together to provide new, tech-based solutions to the military and government. We gathered some of Israel’s top developers, programmers, scientists and engineers to help design, build, and launch life-saving products in the fastest way ever imagined.

We are looking for an android developer to take ownership of our detection application, the job requires implementing part of our algorithms in java while ensuring high performance and low power consumption, make sure we have clear and stable UI and implement new features.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the entire app development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
• Continuously optimize application performance, ensuring smooth user experiences across different devices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience as an Android Developer
• Strong knowledge of Android UI, UX and SDK.
• Experience with integration and implementation of computer vision algorithms.
• Proficiency in Kotlin (and Java) programming language.
• Familiarity with Git version control and continuous integration tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional and overseas teams and stakeholders.
• Background in computer vision / deep learning – an advantage.
• Experience with working in a startup environment – an advantage.
