We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in utilizing BigQuery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data analysis, a deep understanding of SQL and BigQuery, and an advantage would be a background in the travel accommodation sector. You will be responsible for extracting, interpreting, and presenting actionable insights from vast datasets to drive informed business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction and Manipulation: Retrieve, clean, and preprocess large datasets using BigQuery and other relevant tools to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Analysis and Visualization: Perform comprehensive analysis on complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Develop visually appealing and insightful reports or dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
• Insights and Recommendations: Translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations, contributing to strategic decision-making processes to enhance business performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and finance to understand data needs, provide analytical support, and offer data-driven solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve data collection processes, reporting techniques, and analytical frameworks to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, particularly with BigQuery, SQL, and database management.
• Familiarity with the travel accommodation industry is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Data studio, Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for creating impactful reports and dashboards.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey findings and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling- advantage.
