We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D and help us scale.

Built by a team of veteran entrepreneurs, Guidde’s platform addresses one of the major gaps which exist in delivering knowledge to customers in the best way.

Guidde utilizes some of the most advanced techniques in NLP and Computer Vision in order to help our clients make their knowledge available on demand.

Think you could search Youtube or Zoom meetings using keywords that were said or apps that were demonstrated on the video. For any software and in context.

What will you be responsible for? 

You will lead some of the key domains of our platform - design, coding, quality, time estimations and commitments, deployment to production and monitoring

You will be fully hands-on - develop, lead-by-example, push coding best practices and code craftsmanship standards

You will lead technical innovation to push the entire R&D department forward

You will be taking a key role in defining and shaping our development processes

Job Requirements

• You are able to see the big picture, zoom out, prioritize, estimate well, mitigate risks and have a sharp eye for details
• You have 6+ years experience in Backend development, preferably working with NodeJS / Typescript on Cloud-Based SaaS products
• You have proven experience designing and architecting distributed systems using micro services
• You are a team player who wants to join a great team
• You are a professional practicing the most advanced methodologies in DevOps and CI/CD
• You have hands-on experience building Data Pipelines for Data Science

Nice to haves :

• 2+ years experience in React/Angular/Vue
• Proven experience in REST API
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
• Hands-on experience with DBs - MongoDB/MySql/Redis/ElasticSearch
• Experience in NLP and / or Computer Vision products
