Your Career
We are looking for a motivated, intelligent, hardworking and creative candidate to join the Cortex XSOAR and XSIAM team as a Software Engineer. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a team that helps our Content group succeed by building on top of the Cortex XSOAR and XSIAM platform. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you’ll be coding and into the bits and bytes on a daily basis. And this is a cross functional role; you’ll be working with Business Development, Product Management, Customer Success, Engineering, Security Architecture, Marketing, and others. You’ll report into the Engineering organization. This is a super opportunity to get deeper in the cybersecurity space, learn new technologies, network and build a huge list of contacts in the space, and see how a successful ~$4B company operates.
This is an externally-facing role: you’ll work directly with hundreds of current, cutting-edge cybersecurity vendors - from startups to giants - to define relevant use cases, scope and build a Cortex XSOAR integration, guide them through our engineering process and be their primary contact for technical questions.
Your Impact
- Involved in the full development lifecycle - review architecture design documents, assist in build and test, and support content being pushed out to hundreds of customers
- Work directly with Technology Vendors (partners) on product use cases, API documentation questions, instance setup requests - Learn their product and discuss potential integration points
- Work directly with customers/prospects to validate use cases and integration requests
- Define how customers will use our partner integrations
- Develop information security and incident response workflows, procedures and best practices and publish them as playbooks
- Create new processes to streamline your job and/or the partner’s experience
- Advocate and interact with product management and research regularly
Qualifications
Your Experience
- Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent military experience required
- At least one year of experience in a high-tech company as a software developer with Python - a must!
- A strong passion for software development
- Ability to work independently
