Mobileye is looking for a data analyst to lead the efforts to join the team developing a novel approach to validate autonomous vehicle (AV) safety.

Proving the autonomous vehicle is safe is a task at the frontier of the technology. It requires understanding the AV system E2E, designing and implementing tools to support the task, and working in front of the automotive industry to get a wide acceptance for our approach.

What will your job look like?

• Work on a large-scale system from its early stages and watch it evolve.
• Take part in the design & development SOTIF (Safety Of The Intended Functionality) relevant KPIs for the AV system.
• Initiate new methods and tools to support the safety analysis of the AV system.
• Identify potential safety risks, such as driver behavior, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Develop and implement SOTIF requirements and guidelines for the design, development, and testing of systems.
• Work with the automotive industry to get a wide acceptance of our methodology.
• Work closely with customers and regulators on SOTIF related aspects.
  
  

All you need is:

• Degree in Computer Science, mathematics, data science or equivalent degree
• 3+ years of experience in development or product management of SW or hybrid SW-HW systems
• skills in Python or other scripting language.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Good expertise in statistical modeling and DOE.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of SOTIF concepts and standards, such as ISO/PAS 21448 and UL 4600.
• Expertise in safety-critical system design and development processes.
• Familiarity with safety analysis methods, such as hazard analysis and risk assessment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate SOTIF requirements and risks to stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Coding skills
• Statistics tools experience and skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify SOTIF risks and develop solutions.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to meet SOTIF-related deadlines.
