Senior DevOps Engineer - Legit Security

Our tech landscape includes managing our infrastructure through Terraform, all version-controlled in Git (Github Cloud). We leverage Github Actions for continuous integration, task automation, and ArgoCD for continuous delivery. Our vision aligns with GitOps methodologies.

We utilize Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, and Open Telemetry for observability.

Our platform is distributed and running on Kubernetes exclusively for our SaaS offerings, private cloud, and on-premises.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain DevOps tools and infrastructure
• Streamline, automate, and enhance deployment and development workflows
• Ensure our systems are efficient, secure, and robust
• Collaborate with software development teams to refine and enhance development pipelines
• Participate in and lead part of our self-serve platform initiatives (Internal Developer Portal)

Desired Qualifications

We're happy to connect if:

• You possess a minimum of 5 years in cloud infrastructure management and development, with a preference for AWS proficiency
• You have significant hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally with a strong foundation in Terraform
• You are adept at managing and developing Container orchestration systems, with Kubernetes being a strong requirement
• Proven track record of creating self-serve platforms
• Proficiency in tool development using Python, Golang, C#
• You're experienced in crafting, deploying, and overseeing CI/CD pipelines, particularly with tools like Git, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• You've designed infrastructure for large, globally distributed systems
• You're accustomed to adhering to best practices and ensuring always-on, always-reliable IT services
• Your organizational habits and time management allow you to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Your communication is clear and effective, paired with a drive to prioritize customer needs
• You're proficient at diagnosing and solving problems
• You understand the importance of good documentation and possess a detail-oriented mindset

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience in the application security industry
• Experience in product management.
• Proven ability to gather requirements from developers and convert them into a cohesive road map or actionable items.
