We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer to join our team as the
first Generative AI Projects Engineer.
This role involves spearheading the development and implementation of next-generation AI projects that will drive our company's growth and set new benchmarks in the insurance industry.
This position requires hands-on coding capabilities to use generative AI solutions and other cloud-based technologies.
You do not need to be a data scientist but a great engineer with a builder mindset that can solve
business problems using generative AI and other cloud technologies.
Generative AI is the future of software development.
It is a new engineering domain, and we are looking for a technical leader with a hands-on attitude to build the infrastructure, process and use cases we have already defined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Think together with our product teams and business stockholders about business problems that Generative AI technology can solve.
- Architect and deliver solutions using cloud services and tools.
- Design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge cloud solutions that includes Generative AI within insurance domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Research, experiment, and implement state-of-the-art AI products and APIs and techniques to enhance our products and services.
- Drive the end-to-end development lifecycle, from conceptualization and prototyping to production deployment and optimization.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technology and incorporate relevant tools and methodologies into project development.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go or similar.
- Working knowledge of Cloud Computing (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure) - AWS preferred.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience.
- A track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects from conception to deployment.
- Ability to complete tasks “End to End” - from design and implementation to continuous deployment in production.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to innovation.
- Excellent engineering skills, strong communication skills fundamentals, and elegance in your work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

- Knowladge with AWS cloud services.
- Experience using Python.
- Data engineering experience.
- Experience with AI development frameworks and tools such as LangChain, Pandas, Scikit-learn, NLTK or Keras.
