As a Senior Frontend Developer at Statement, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user interface and overall user experience of our financial management platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, turning design concepts into efficient, responsive, and user-friendly features. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to swiftly translate design concepts into responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, modular, and scalable frontend components with a focus on React and its ecosystem.
• Implement best practices for web development, ensuring optimal performance and user experience in our dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies, especially in React and related tools like Next.js, Tailwind, Storybook, and Jest, proposing and implementing improvements as needed.
• Work closely with backend developers to seamlessly integrate frontend components within the agile architecture.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, with a strong focus on building scalable and performant user interfaces using React.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with Next.js, Tailwind, Storybook, and Jest is a significant advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
