Israel Tech Guard is an elite team of tech volunteers, who have come together to provide new, tech-based solutions to the military and government. We gathered some of Israel’s top developers, programmers, scientists and engineers to help design, build and launch life-saving products in the fastest way ever imagined. For one of our new and exciting projects, we are looking for an experienced Computer Vision Engineer.

In this role you will:

• Design and Implement Visual Inertial SLAM and 3D Mapping Solution
• Work on the design and optimization of algorithms to ensure robust and accurate mapping in dynamic environments.
• Continuously improve existing solutions based on defined challenges and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with the team to address specific challenges and enhance the performance of the mapping solution.
  
  

Nature: Volunteering position

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in C++
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and integration tasks
• Proficiency in SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), SFM (Structure from Motion), and Bundle Adjustment techniques
• Experience with open-source computer vision packages such as ORB_SLAM, OpenMVG, Colmap, Open3D.
• Familiarity with leveraging these packages to build robust visual inertial 3D mapping solutions
