The Development Tools team is responsible for developing frameworks that increase overall R&D quality and velocity, and is the owner of the development and automation infrastructure in Fireblocks, as well as the development environments and toolings.

The team is part of the Backend Infrastructure group which develops internal libraries and frameworks for the usage of the R&D teams, advancing velocity and quality for developers in Fireblocks, and setting the development standards and conventions of the backend development in Fireblocks. The group is also responsible for advancing the cloud infrastructure of the organization and for the integration of the infrastructure with the R&D development lifecycle, and for production services that are used broadly by different product teams

As a Development Tools Engineer, you will take a leading part in creating the next generation of Fireblocks’ development cycle, including the internal development platform and ephemeral development environments. You will be part of a team of skilled developers that drive efficiency, enhance developers productivity, and elevate overall product quality.ֿ

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with large scale systems.
• Experience working with: Javascript, Typescript, React or equivalent stack.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience managing, scaling and developing developer tools.
• Ability to drive initiatives and make a substantial impact on the development process.
• A security-oriented approach and mindset.
• An excellent team player.
• Experience with blockchain or cryptography - big advantage.
