Position Summary

The Senior Embedded Systems Engineer position is a system development and R&D Engineering position within General Robotics. This position will be responsible for firmware/source code development C / C++ on embedded / real-time systems including real-time Linux and Bare Metal.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop source code and kernel for embedded real-time Linux-based systems.
• Create real-time applications on Bare Metal DSPs.
• Develop and support Real-time video and image analysis algorithms.
• Develp and implement communication protocols over ethernet I2C, SPI
• Develop and implement system periferials logic and control
• Responsible for taking new product concepts through all aspects of the product development cycle, resulting in a producible and innovative product.
• Ensure a seamless transition from prototype to a fully developed and manufactured system.
• Review and follow military standards, including communication and network protocols.

Education, Experience, And Required Skills

•  Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science required.
•  10 years of recent, related experience in source code development for embedded systems.
•  Ideal candidates must be creative, self-motivated, and independent thinkers.
•  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
