We are looking for an Android Developer to join the amazing software agent team of Perimeter 81, a fast-growing, venture-backed startup located in the heart of the Tel Aviv tech-hub. This role is perfect for a

highly experienced software developer who is familiar with the networking and security world. As an

integral part of our R&D, you’ll be working with a motivated Android team, and the software group that is

responsible for multiple desktop and mobile device agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and secure agents on the Android platform
• Research and POC new technologies
• Work with developers from other agent teams and with backend teams
• Review and train junior employees with their designs
• Initiate and innovate to promote business needs

Qualifications

• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Experience in Android development in Java/Kotlin
• Solid understanding of the Android framework SDK
• Knowledge of Android architecture components
• Knowledge of Android design guidelines
• Experience with Retrofit, OkHTTP3, RxJava, RxAndroid, coroutines
• Experience with network protocols – TCP/IP/HTTP/VPN, SSL bumping (an advantage)
• Good understanding of OOP and design patterns
• Proficient in English
