Terasky Group is looking for a talented Cloud Platform Team Lead.
As a Cloud Platform Team Lead, you will take the helm of our cloud operations team, overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud platforms while driving innovation in cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and administrators, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to meet business and client requirements
- Stay at the forefront of cloud technologies and best practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards for security, scalability, and performance
- Plan and execute cloud-related projects, including migrations, optimizations, and disaster recovery planning
- Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards within the cloud environment
- Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and incidents, providing guidance and expertise to your team
- Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance improvements
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures
- Manage relationships with cloud service providers, including negotiations, contract management, and service-level agreements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role, demonstrating the ability to lead and develop technical teams effectively
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience in cloud infrastructure management and architecture
- More than 3 years of experience as a manager
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading and developing technical teams
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus
- Strong understanding of security and compliance best practices in cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field experience
