We are seeking for an Application Development Engineer

Reports to: Applications Development Director

Location: Afek Industrial Park, Rosh Ha'ayin

What will you do?

• System Process development of new technologies in the textile printing industry (New Inks; New workflows; New systems)
• Map gaps, suggest and characterize improvements
• Write specs (SW; PRD), procedures, project steps & test plan
• Become an expert bridging between R&D and marketing’s definitions to customer needs
• Develop applications and conduct experiments using existing systems
• Analyze multi-component problems
• Support Customer Service and other Development departments
• Lead independently projects and tasks, end to end

What Should you have?

• M.Sc./PhD in Applied Physics or related fields of engineering
• Proven ability of modeling complex systems and interpretation to a relevant research\test plan
• At least 3 years experience as a researcher in a complex process industry (Pharma, Semiconductors, Printing)
• Proven ability of developing measurement methods and procedures
• Creative, methodological problem solver, quick learner, results-driven, good communication skills
• High-level English

Advantages

• Fluency in one or more computer analytic or modeling tools (e.g., LabView, Python, Matlab, JMP, etc.,)
• Demonstrated ability to plan and organize assignments according to planned schedules
• Able to work effectively as a part of a team in a multi-disciplinary environment and interact effectively with people with a variety of expertise
