One Security Operations Center (SOC) is a new team under Modern Protection & Security Operation Center, our vision is to empower every SOC team to protect their entire digital estate, optimize for their unique environment and needs. We build the ultimate unified one-stop-shop solution, making SOC teams most effective and efficient and deliver optimized protection that meets customers where they are, leading Extended Detection and Response (XDR)+ Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) market.

Responsibilities

As a software engineering manager, you will have the opportunity to work on business-critical initiatives that directly shape the future of Microsoft Security products.

• Mentor and inspire a diverse team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, leading by example, assisting with architectural decisions, code reviews, and problem solving.
• Take a broad cross-team and cross-discipline role, working on a product with high visibility and high impact. 
• Lead end-to-end design, implementation and delivery of services and features, following industry best practices, adhering to very high security standards. 
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years full stack engineering experience in a production environment
• 5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
• 2+ years of people management: recruiting, technical leadership and mentorship, personal development, team building, vision, and roadmap creation.
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Highly hands-on
• Great people skills, leadership and collaboration
• Experince in leading complex designs, implement with quality and scale, mentor engineers.
