Role Description

• Join a team of top-tier developers in building Grain’s state-of-the-art fintech solution. Dive deep into both front-end and back-end development ensuring optimal performance, quality, and resilience of our cutting edge, embedded currency hedging platform
• Handle high-scale system design and development, recognizing that any error can have drastic consequences
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and problem solve with a diverse team of engineers to tackle challenging issues and create innovative solutions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with a focus on backend development
• Experience with database management systems, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Experience with cloud environments, such as AWS or Azure
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication skills; able to convey complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
• Independent, fast learner and excited about learning new technologies 
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Previous experience in the fintech sector is an advantage
