Software Engineer R&D

In this role you will be a key member of a fast-growing team of experts that focusses on our test-generation technology.

We are looking for a software developer that has passion to drive innovation and to contribute to the further development of this emerging technology on both a local and global scale.

Modern IP/SoC designs pose unique challenges for the verification of large multi-core processor subsystems. There is a growing need to further advance test-generation technologies, such that test sequences are not only correct-by-construction, but moreover they randomly cover the immense state space of the design and able apply a directed stress on the design to reveal the rarest hardware defects.

Synopsys is uniquely positioned in this space to drive innovation and build leading solutions across the industry.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in low level software development
• Proficient with embedded, kernel, OS, Assembly, C
• Skilled on other programming languages: C++, Python, etc.
• Effective teamwork and excellent communication with global teams and 3rd parties

• Experience in test-generation technologies
• Experience in hardware verification technologies
• Familiarity with CPU architectures and SoC/IP specifications
