Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing microcode that drives CPU microarchitecture and internal operations and instruction execution of Intel x86 processors. You will participate in the definition of microcode architecture in partnership with processor architects and you will be responsible for designing instructions that enhance processor performance, efficiency, security, and functionality. You will also collaborate with other processor architects and design engineers to ensure seamless integration of microcode with the overall processor architecture. You will Conduct performance analysis and validate the reliability and effectiveness of microcode under various operating conditions and workloads. You will also contribute to the innovation and enhancement of Intel processor technology to address performance and design constraints through microcode solutions.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Familiarity with CPU architecture - advantage
- Experience in Pre-Silicon Validation environments. Experience with FW design and/or verification - advantage
- Experience in Perl/Python, C/C++ and Linux OS- advantage
- Fast learner, eam player, passionate, energetic, motivated, and capable of driving global activities.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
