The role

Kaltura's M&T(Media & Telecom) Division is looking for a DevOps Engineer

The day-to-day

• Manage, Operate, Enhance and Maintain our Cloud platform which processes Millions of requests a day, more than 50,000 transactions/second.
• Maintain and Improve our Dev/Staging/Prod K8S Clusters.
• Introduce cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to improve existing processes, with emphasis on speeding up and automating manual processes.
• Take part in product and infra architecture designs with R&D.
• Be a part of a DevOps team that develop our product and infrastructure
• Work closely with R&D to release and support new product features
• Build self-serve tools to be consumed by the technical teams in the organization.
• Embrace DevOps mythologies and contribute to the open-source community

Ideally, we’re looking for:

• 2+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Experience with the cloud production environment and cloud-native stack - a must
• Experience with the micro-service environment in high scale distributed systems.
• Real experience with K8s ecosystem (deployments, maintenance, improvements)
• Strong familiar with GitOps methodologies, Using Helm and ArgoCD.
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code, Preferably CloudFormation
• Coding experience (preferably python/bash/groovy/Go) - a must
• Strong background knowledge in Linux Administration.

These would also be nice:

• Monitoring/Logging experience using Prometheus/Grafana/Thanos/Vector
• Strong Networking and Cloud skills
