Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Android Lead to join our dynamic team and play a central role in shaping the Android development efforts for our Brain Health applications. As an Android Lead, you will be responsible for driving mobile application development and contributing to our mission of advancing brain health technology.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Android developers (including outsource teams), ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality mobile applications for brain health solutions.
  2. Android Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications, from concept to deployment, ensuring they meet user needs and performance requirements.
  3. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging Android technologies, tools, and trends related to brain health and medtech to drive innovation in mobile application development.
  4. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and medical experts, to translate clinical requirements into effective Android solutions.
  5. Code Quality: Promote best practices in Android development, code reviews, and quality assurance to maintain high standards in our mobile applications.
  6. Team Development: Foster a collaborative and innovative development culture, provide mentorship and guidance to Android developers, and support their professional growth.
  7. Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, allocate resources effectively, and ensure the timely delivery of Android projects.
  8. User Experience (UX): Ensure that Android applications provide an exceptional user experience, with a focus on usability and accessibility.
  9. Quality and Compliance: Ensure that Android app development adheres to relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards in the medtech sector.
  10. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of Android application architecture, development processes, and technical decisions.
  11. Testing: Oversee the testing and validation of Android applications, including integration with medical devices if applicable.


Qualifications

  • a TEAM player, with outstanding inter-personal relations and experience in working with global teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience in Android app development, at least 2 years of experience in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong background in mobile application architecture, design, and development.
  • Knowledge of Android development tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the medical technology or healthcare sector is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and improving brain health outcomes.
