Passportcard-David Shield Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Python Tech Lead to join our young, growing and vital Data Group. The optimal candidate possesses the ability to develop innovative solutions to key business problems, will lead the team to analytical breakthrough, and successfully collaborate with other teams in the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming, be comfortable working in cross-functional teams, and have a passion for developing cutting edge ML/AI products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists to ensure the generation of high-quality products.
• Design innovative solutions for complex business problems
• Develop new growth-oriented models, optimize existing code, and implement data collection and processing methodologies.
• Establish a shared vision for the company-wide AI/ML applications, while working with cross-functional team members (including R&D, engineering, data analytics, sales, marketing, and customer service)
• Collaborate with key stakeholders from various domains in the company to integrate AI/ML capabilities, tailor-made or ready-made in our product funnel.
• Ensure the quality and performance of infrastructure, development, deployment and testing
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; MA is an advantage.
• 5+ years of experience with Python development.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
• Vast experience with Cloud applications
• Experience with generative AI technologies and proven ability to learn and implement new technologies.
• Outstanding communication skills and collaborative stances
